repository of technology related resources
for school administrators.

Report: The High Speed Network has moved from
the UC location to K-12 realm being hosted
in Imperial and counties. The report estimates
that 76% of students have access to the Internet.
In Region 4, 76% of school districts and 70%
of schools are connected to the High Speed
Network.
Annual Education Technology Survey – opens
January
The survey will be opening up on January
15th. The CDE plans to send out letters with
passwords for the survey before the December
holidays. Upgrades have been made based on
user feedback. For example, when users want
to view survey data from multiple years, they
no longer need to log in separately for each
year they want to view. That and other improved
features wil make this one of your favorite
surveys of the year.

The Pacific ADA and IT Center is a federally
funded program that is free to teachers.
The program is funded to provide services.
Accessible Information Technology has
the goal of increasing accesibility in
governmental agencies for people with
disabilities. As government agencies
require accesibility in the software
they buy, manufacturers are required
to build software with accessibility
features for users with disabilities
that become available to users outside
the government realm.
