State EdTech Update

AB 74
AB 74 that establishes CTAPwill be sunsetting in Jan 2009.  Nell Soto tried to get a bill through before it sunsetted, but the department of finance recommended that it be vetoed, which it was.  CTAP will continue to work with the CDE and legislature to get a bill passed next year. The legislative thought was to wait until the bill was closer to sunsetting to re-authorize.
