State, Regional and National Conferences - Information on upcoming conferences with tracks or sessions that focus on improving student achievement through systematic use of data driven decision making.

 

AB 430 - School Management
AB 430 legislation provides for a principal training program. The State requires that principals and assistant principals complete 160 hours, 80 training hours and 80 practicum hours. Completion of AB430 meets the Tier II Administrative Credential Requirements.

 

California State-Wide Student Identifer System (CSIS)
SB1453 mandated that California School Information Services (CSIS) create a statewide system to track longitudinal pupil achievement data in compliance with federal requirements under No Child Left Behind.

Program Improvement Resources
CTAP Region IV and RSDSS have collaborated to provide two free tools designed to assist program improvement efforts. The CST tool analyzes CST results from the STAR test. The Benchmark analysis tool is designed to be used with your local benchmark assessments including those developed in-house.

Workshop Announcements

Many Bay Area districts will be purchasing a new Student Information System within the next two years. To support these districts, CTAP Region IV will host two free events that will make the process as painless as possible.
