Math Performance Assessment Tasks (K-8) -Performance assessments are designed to require students effectively and thoughtfully to construct solutions to questions, problems or tasks. The tasks frequently involve manipulatives and are scored using a rubric. These performance assessments were developed by the Mathematics Assessment Project (WA State) to support classroom instruction and help improve student learning. They could be edited and adopted to meet local needs.
